TetriCare supports wound care management by supplementing cattle, horses, goats, sheep, and swine with plasma from donors vaccinated against tetanus toxin. Use before or after castration, docking, dehorning, disbudding, shearing, or during wound management.
Sheep, Goats, & Swine Pre Wound: 10 mL Post Wound: 100 mL
Cattle & Horses Pre Wound: 10 mL Post Wound: 200 mL
50 mL Bottle Administration: Can be subcutaneous (SQ), intramuscular (IM), or intravenous (IV) per the dosage schedule in the table (click product images for chart). IV requires the use of a filtered IV administration set. Also available in a 200 mL IV bag for acute situations.
200 mL IV Bag Administration: Use filtered IV administration set. Warm to body temperature (90-101°F) using a warm water bath (110-115°F) prior to administration. Administer slowly at first and monitor for signs of reaction, especially in non-equine patients. Use entire contents when first opened. Do not save unused product for later use. Additional doses may be given in 48-hour intervals as needed. Use professional judgment.
Use Instructions: Invert gently before use. Do not shake. Do not slaughter within 21 days of administration. Safety in pregnant animals is unknown.
Storage: Store refrigerated at 4-8°C (39-46°F). Gelling may occur when stored at or near freezing temperatures. Call manufacturer if this occurs.
Ingredients: Equine Plasma Proteins, Sodium Citrate Solution, Gentamicin as a preservative.
